Is poverty a dream killer?
I believe since creation or inception of the world there have been different types of people which are separated by the gap or distinction of their financial assets, properties and bank account balance. Naturally some people are wealthier and richer than the othees but that should not make them different.
Now there's this very big strong bad guy that seems like he would exist forever, respawning in different places and humans in different generations as well, i introduce to you the legendary Mr Poverty!.
He is more than just animate, but he doesnt have to shout, he waits and keep delaying plans, dreams , life and reality until they expire... sometimes he even goes as far as claiming the lives he never created, thats crazy and poverty is a predator.
Poverty is really tougher than we do think. There is so much more to poverty than just lacking amenities or having an empty bank account or pockets, poverty is limited options, opportunities and unavailability of measurable progress. Poverty s very diverse and skillful that it exists in so many forms and realms. Poverty is talent without having the exposure to monetize rthe talent, now you can see there is more to poverty asides just having money in the bank account. Poverty also happens when peole spend all the time in the world or their lifetime to survive instead of becoming something.
Now do you wanna know how dreams die? it is a gradual process that accumulates over time based on life situations, this happens when people miss opportunities that could have turned their financial lives around due to one situation or the other which still narrows down to not having money. Sometimes people dreams starts to die when they start having to handle some responsibilities at an earlier stage, imagine a 15 year old who has to hawk on the streets to afford a 2 square meal or a single mother who is struggling to raise kids amidst economy crises, she will automatically pause her dreams which in most cases become forgotten... she cou;d have been a world class innovator but first she has to get more money for responsibilities.
Another mighty killer of dreams is choosing food over passion. of course i do not blame them! its a crazy world we live in so we have to grab food for survival then we can keep dreaming. All because of poverty, a mental disease that also restructure the brain and limit it. This is where it all gets crazy, poverty teaches you fear befotre courage , for sure every poor man would flee at the sight of a rich's man anger asides that poverty makes a person inferior.
Poverty is just a very crazy life teacher with very bad lessons, like i mean the worse lessons one can ever get. poverty teaches one to obey without imaginations, just like pliticians give poor masses a tiny penny just to come into power, make them suffer more and steal more money, poor people have also learned to manage their expectations instead of taking risks which has reportedly left them poor over ages.
Poverty convinces you to kill dreams yourself by telling you 'later' because you dont have funding and guess what!? later never comes!
imagine elon musk being poor and from a place in africa lol he would never thought about space travelling.
I think we should all work together hands in hands to eradicate poverty because when survival becomes priority , dreaming becomes a luxury that very few can afford.
