A couple of days back, my friend @mypathtofire shared a tweet with me about Amazon Prime entering a collaboration with a game on the Wax blockchain. Since Amazon Prime is not just anybody, I wanted to have a closer look and know more about this game.
In this video, I show you all the steps that I took to get started with the game and tell you why I'm rather disappointed...

I prefer to play in the browser. I didn't know about the collaboration with Amazon Prime, but I'm not a big fan of Amazon.
I have a little abandoned my wax account, I will have to review the news a little.
I also prefer playing in browser. It's really not cool when you need to download the game.
Hopefully they will improve those aspects and you will be able to enjoy it later on, I feel they could do it soon for the comfort of the players. What I do think is that they are not going to change the platform, it would be great to do it on the computer, but Amazon Prime is pretty jealous with their stuff 😵
I realised that the game wasn't that new and that they actually had plenty of time to improve things. I don't believe that much improvement will be developped any time soon.
Similarly, when many things inside the game are broken, the game is not fun to play at all and one feels like one is wasting one's time, so it is better that one moves to another game. Go there, work hard and enjoy.
That's a bit the feeling I had with this game... It's not worth to spend too much time on it I believe.
Ok thanks for sharing your opinion.
If you’re earning NFTs you may be able to sell those game pieces on different WAX marketplaces. Hopefully the game gets advertised and developed into something that can gain traction so that’s the case.
That would be great but honestly I don't think you can earn NFT's either at the moment. Maybe there is some development planned.
Yikes!
Then yeah idk what the angle is then. I think prime users get a free sun on twitch so maybe it will help some WAX twitch streamers out??
Could be good old fashioned engagement farming too! Lol
We never know… 🤷🏾♂️

Ah man, the game doesn't look bad, but it could be better, and like you said, I would prefer to play it via browser. Then everything would be easier and better.
It's really a big obstacle for mass adoption to have to download the game I believe. This represent a big challenge for a pvp game because you kind of don't find any oponents...
I have amazon prime and a wax account and I didn't know about this game also because my experience on wax games never involved me like Hive games.
Thanks for this review and especially after reading this review of yours I don't think I will try this game.
Still it is interesting and new the Amazon-wax game combination.
Amazon should go for Hive instead of wax. Do you agree with that? ;)

Maybe you could get some free NFT's :-).
So far I haven't seen any blockchain game that comes close to Splinterlands. I believe it would make more sense to partner up with such a game than with a game that has hardly any players...
I think it depends but I do think a random game being downloaded doesn't sound that great. At least for that type of game, I think online would be enough and I also don't think I would be interested in that game either.
If the game would have an amazing game play, I wouldn't mind to download it but it's basically just a choice of cards and then random events happening...
It seems good but little bit heart breaking
Definitely...
Thanks for the great overview. The collab with Amazon Prime looks pretty good, but those are a few flaws in the game that you mentioned. I am not such a fan of downloading games, especially when they are card games and can be done in the browser!
Yes, it's really not nice to have to download the game on the computer. In addition to that the earning side of the game is rather inexistant. Thanks for sharing the tweet :-)
Thanks for the review. I don't think the game can be classified under blockchain game right?
Well the assets are on the blockchain, so I think it kind of qualifies :-)
Yea you are right
Thtat's not a new game and has been out for quite awhile already hasn't it?
I thought it was new but it's actually more than a year old. I didn't get why amazon prime was pushing exactly this game...
I've never used Amazon prime before
I may try someday to have an experience
Me neither :-)
