As a beginner still figuring out Play to Earn games, I recently stumbled into a new blockchain domain centered around catching, training and battling monsters called HoloZing. The founders say it mixes aspects of classics like Pokémon and World of Warcraft with next generation web3 technology.

Reading through some early briefing documents they put out, seems keeping battle intel secret stands key in HoloZing. Things like enemy attack abilities or patterns stay hidden. So paying attention and recording observations more important here than just power leveling up. Makes sense to my novice brain - cunning and strategy prevailing over pure grind.

Another main thing highlighted was focus on health management in fights. Restoration abilities and HP conservation noted as essential to besting foes. That Lead me to guess maybe loadouts and gear also impact outcomes big time here. More to unpack on that front!

On the asset side, I read HoloZing assets get backed by Hive blockchain, enabling true ownership and earnings. So any hard-won monsters or domains can become locked legitimate possessions, not just vanish if the game folded. A bit reassuring as a worried newbie!

Finally, founders apparently wanted fairness coming out the gate. No insider advantage through pre-mined tokens or special kickbacks. So at least us amateurs entering haven't fallen behind yet out the starting gate against vets or whales based on that!

I need to research more what drives token worth and scarcity. But seems tied to stuff like how many get released by developers over time. And buzz around the game drawing attention from outside crypto peeps. More demand than supply and boom - profit potential. Too complex for this padawan!

But bottom line I'm starting to get is HoloZing economy based on true ownership of assets like unique warrior Zings. Trading them later for profit if popularity and token value grows. For now enjoying learning basics of battling and asset hunting! But cool that web3 tech allows this play AND earn potential other games don't offer. Excited to see where it goes!

What I Just Read About Transferring HoloZing Stuff

I haven't actually started moving any monsters or tokens out of HoloZing yet. But reading the starter guides, it mentions being able build up rare creatures and digital assets in-game then transfer them to blockchain wallets for safekeeping.

It sounds almost like digging up treasure in a virtual world but being able to haul the loot into the real world? Wild concept for a total crypto newbie like me! Do I really get to keep my battle Zings forever like star baseball cards or beanie babies if I choose?

They explain doing transfers requires some small network fee powered by resource credits. But built on Hive, fees stay completely free for basic stuff like occasional token transfers. That's a relief - no confusing gas calculator math slowing me down!

Now if I get super into factions and trading monster NFTs multiple times a day, might need to stockpile more credits. Guide recommends staking Hive coins for serious players to tap into more juice. I'll likely need a guildmate to explain actually how staking works when I reach that level. Baby steps!

For now, just exciting to know any assets I earn through battling stay securely and permanently mine rather than vaporizing if I ever stop playing. Wild concept that I own virtual goods for real! So much to absorb...feeling like a kiddo peering through toy store windows. 😂

As someone newer to blockchain gaming worlds, I was eager yet honestly confused when first entering the emerging digital realm of HoloZing. This innovative web3 monster trainer lets players battle and breed creatures called Zings. But before gameplay officially launches, early users can already start claiming free Zing tokens as rewards. So I learned step-by-step how signing in and finding those reward chests works using Hive Keychain. Now I want to pay helpful hints forward for other explorers joining this virtual frontier!

1. Download Keychain app and login via master password
2. Tap "Manage Keys" and add Posting + Active keys
3. Open "Browser" tab and enter HoloZing's site

5. Type username when prompted to authorize

SIGN-IN
From that page, follow the prompt where you will be told to input your username.

CONFIRM VIA KEYCHAIN
After you click on sign-in confirm it via keychain.

Once logged into your account, click the "Rewards" button to uncover options for grabbing free tokens! This training ground currently offers Zing tokens via:

So far I've focused solely on staking and delegating. Already I've staked 143.58 Zing, and I have delegated 300 HP.

This is just the first step for me and I am hoping to do better as time goes on. My next curiosity lies in providing liquidity once I better understand the process.
