Oh my God! Is this something that the previous generation enjoyed doing or what? I remember the same freaking story from my mother about her pet and I was always amazed by how cruel this was. I mean, I can understand the hunting your own food thing and eating it, but not one that was a pet and friend for one of the kids and them not knowing that this one ends up in the kitchen.. gosh, sorry they did this to you!
On a more positive note, the artwork is amazing! I admire your burning skills, it looks great!

I don't know if it's a thing from the previous generation, but I do know that it came as a big shock the moment my uncle told me. My gosh, I never had imagined that, and I never forgot.
And thanks for the compliment, fun fact, my partner took a picture of it, showed it to his colleagues and came home with the question "How much do you want for it? A colleague wants to buy this".
