I made a choir uniform for myself,it was a black gown.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new year,am hopeful that this new week will be awesome and less stressful for us all.

Am here to share with you all how my weekend went.
It was indeed stressful because of different events that i had.
The last one for the weekend was how i could sew a black dress for myself.
It was the choir uniform to be used on Sunday,being the Easter Sunday.
So i got the materials needed on Wednesday but i was so busy to sew it on that day.

Here are the materials i used:

• Black fabric
• Scissors
• Black thread
• Black zip
• Some silver stones
• Measuring Tape
  

I got the fabric and i took it home,i felt i would be able to start working on it before Friday.
But the sad new is,i wasn't able to cut the fabric still Saturday evening.
It would have been possible to start sewing ealier if i was at home,but i was in church from Friday and on Saturday because of the easter celebration,when i got home on Saturday afternoon,i decided to prepare for Sunday.

At this point i had no option that to start cutting.
My sewing machine wasn't at home,it was in the shop,so i decided to cut the fabric at home and then take it to the shop for sewing.

I took my measurements and i cut it through.

It was already getting late so i had to rush to the shop to sew them immediately since i wasn't sure of electricity light at night.

At last i was able to joined all the parts together
And it was already night fall.
So i had to stop making the dress till the next day which was Sunday.
I took my dress home and i had the intentions of waking up so lately the next day to fix the remaining parts so that i could make it to church on time.

Luckily for me,i was able to wake up earlier despite the tiredness of the previous day.
I got the silver stones,my knitting needles and thread and i started to sew the stomes on my dress.
Since it was a black gown,i needed some silver stones on it so that it will have some glitters instead of it being so black.

This took alot of time and i guess this part was the most difficult part for me because i was already running late.
I had to patiently fix the silver stones on the neck of the dress and also on the upper part of the gown.
And finally i was through.

I was already 30minute late but am still glad that i could make it to church and i was able to wear the black choir uniform.
