I made a blue colour church dress for my daughter.

Hello everyone @needleworkmonday community.
I welcome you all to a more blissful week.
I hope your weekend was great, mind was beautiful
Yet with a little stress.

I am so happy to make it to this monday and to share the beautiful dress i made for my daughter.
I have been a bit selective when sewing for my daughters,i usually choose a girl like colours because they are girls

Recently i was thinking on what to sew for my daughter,so,i decided to make her a blue colour dress,i have checked through her wardrobe and i realised that she has more of pink, red, peach, and white colour dresses.
Because of that i decided to add a blue colour dress to her wardrobe

Here are the materials i used:

  • sequence fabric
  • satin fabric
  • blue colour lining
  • zip
  • blue net

First step
The first step i took was to get her measurements,
I took her shoulder, burst waist and half length measurement,i dropped the armhole by four and i folded the fabric into two and i cut it out.

Next step
For the back side i added two inches allowance for
the zip,i cut out the neck, using two and two and a half, but for the back side i dropped the neck by one inches

Next step
For this step,i folded the dull face fabric and cut out the flare after marking the waist .

Next step
For the flare part of it,i added hard net to it and i joined the upper side and the lower side together before closing it with the lining.

Finally
Finally,i inserted the zip and the dress was ready.
She wore it and she felt so good about it.
