Hello dear creative Hivers, I hope you are doing great today.

Just recovering from an illness that made me skip two days on Hive feels like a really long time. I missed being here, I'm glad I feel great today after taking some medication and of course the needed rest, and yea, I bounced back to creating. I'm not sure I can exist without trying my hands on something, bringing all the ideas in my head to life, lol.

Early this week, I shared with us about the corset blouse I made, and today, I will be sharing hoe I transformed that plain corset blouse into a masterpiece, using some floral and 3D appliques, you will sure agree with me that appliques make a whole lot of difference. The finished look of this outfit is so beautiful that anyone that saw it thought it belonged to a bride, hah=s, but no, my friend is just a wedding guest who want to show up beautifully for her sister's wedding, and indeed I made that happen with this transformation, I even did some drape on the skirt part of this outfit, and at the end of tit all, she was so pleased with the finsl look of how ooutfit.

So without further ado, let's get right into the transformation process.

Materials used

• The dress fabric

• Hemming gum

• chain stones

• Boning

• Floral appique

• skin net

• I started by attaching the skin net upper bodice pattern, for both front and back

• I also sewed a straight long sleve around both armhole area

• Then I made holder for the applique by encasing boning into the off shoulder sleeve, which I sewed to both sides

• To make the applique, I started by drawing out the shape I want, in this case a four corner star.

• then made the applique using crinoline net, the plain satin fabric and the lace fabric, I combined them together using the hemming gum, and also gummed the rhinestone chin along all corners of the 3D applique.

• I arranged the 3D appliques made on the off shoulder sleeve

• Then finally, placed the floral applique around the chest area of the corse. And that completes this beautiful transformation. Amazing right? I hope you like this transformation as much as I do.
