Hello beautiful people of the community.
I hope your day is going one well, for me it is. Today, I'll be sharing this beautiful two piece I made for Yvonne.
She came in last week Friday with this beautiful Tweed fabric. I so love the color. It's calm and screams luxury.
Well, I swung into action immediately she left my office because she wanted it urgently.
I made a draft of the two piece, especially the blazer.
After drafting, I transferred onto the fabric.

I found out that, most people shy away from making suit because of the collar. So let me walk through the process.
First thing is to cut out the collar on the pattern on fold, interface and then turn as seen in the picture.

Sew turn and press properly.

Attach the collar to the neck of your blazer securing with pins.

After which you'll turn with lining using a bagged out technique.

This project was actually a fun project even though it took me about four hours to draft, cut and sew. I was frustrated at some point when the light went out and wasn't restored for a couple of hours.

Well, the outcome was worth it. Let's see what it looks like.

We all know that mannequins don't do justice to a fit. So I am happy my client sent some pictures.

This is absolutely gorgeous! The back view and the front view.

I love the color even more!!!

Images used are mine.
