Yo!! Hive family I'm here again.

Remember the dress I shared last week Monday that went bad? This is the full fit of the correct one.

It came out beautifully and I'm so excited. This is a simple yet complicated dress haha.

It looks simple from the surface but when you dive in, you'll realize it's deeper than you imagined.

Well, after redrafting, re cutting and re sewing, we are here now.

A basque dress in it's glory is produced.

This piece was sewn with so much love and commitment.

I ensured to pay attention to details, just how my client wants it. The gathers on the underbust, the gathers on the waist line, the sleeves, the dress length are all accurate

I've packaged the dress ready to be sent out first thing tomorrow morning but this dress taught me a valuable lesson.

I learned to keep improving and keep staying resilient. The fact I've been in this profession for a while now doesn't guarantee success everyday.

Growth is the only thing constant and the end always justifies the means. I wish my client have sent in her review, I would have attached it alongside this post.

But I'm very confident that she'll love it so well.

All the hardwork and sleepless nights later paid off and that's the goal and motivation to keep grinding.
