Hello beautiful people of the community.

It's another week to share a project over the weekend.

My mom's stylish boubou.

I made her a surprise outfit because of all the sacrifice she has made for me.

I recall when I was in fashion school, my mom will stay up late at night with me to ensure I finished up my school project.

When I almost gave up on the whole stress, she was my biggest cheer leader and encourager.

My mom deserves the best all the time and every opportunity I get, I ensure to shower her with so much love.

So I thought of surprising her with this stylish boubou.

I got the Kampala fabric from a very popular fabric material and got into work.

I have the black crepe fabric at home, so I used about a yard of it to mix with the Kampala fabric.

For the sleeve, I did a balloon sleeve. I used elastic to make the sleeve full.

I cut the boubou fabric, with the standard neckline, and slash the fabric in front by two. I used the zipper to design the boubou. And I used the black crepe as the collar all around.

At this point, I invited my mom over to my walk-in office and she was so amazed at how beautiful the dress was.

She tried it on and it looked really good on her. Here are other views of the outfit.

She wore the dress last week Sunday and I really loved her smile on it. I'm glad I could make her smile, and I still have more to surprise her, I just pray that God keeps her alive so she can enjoy more from me.
