It's another beautiful day and I'll like to walk you through the process of making this outfit.

I'll pay more attention to the short with an elastic band.

This client is an extra large client. Working with extra large client is usually very challenging.

She came in with just four yardage of an African Print fabric.

Her hip circumference is 58 and her was is 50. She has a big tummy as well which made even more challenging.

She wanted a short with rope or elastic so, I chose the elastic for her.

I drafted the short using her hip, waist and short length measurement.

After which, I transferred the pattern onto fabric.

I joined the crotch To crotch and side to side. I hemmed the length and focused on the elastic.

I made an elastic band carefully before attaching it to the short as seen in the picture.

After sewing, it came out nicely. The next thing I did was to model it on my mannequin.

The mannequin was already rocking a corset blouse meant for another client, even though it's quite small for the mannequin.

Here's the up close shot of the short, and the elastic band. It's really pretty and I like it so much.

I'll be sending the short to the client later today. I can't wait for her reviews.
