**Vigan is a small town located at the heart of the province of Ilocos Sur. Most people say it is an island because it's surrounded by rivers, separating it from its neighboring towns.
**
Though Vigan is full of establishments, it is amazing how glimpses of nature still show up on every corner, enhancing its natural and unique beauty.

Because my heart immediately jumps out of joy when I see a ravishing view, I have collected some photos in my phone.

Let me share them to you!

This is my view when I arrive to early in Vigan for my OJT. I sit in one of the benches and use the remaining hours before 8AM to fix myself or have my breakfast. The light on the photo is made out of Capiz Shells or also called the Windowpane oyster. That same shell is the one used in the windows of the Spanish colonial townhouses located around the Vigan.

If I turn my head on the other side, there's a kalesa without a horse. It's cute and people can ride too and take pictures. It adds to the good ambience of the surroundings.

I adore this flower. I love pink so maybe that's why. We also have this plant at home. I don't know its name though.

On the other hand, this Yellow Bell screams 'be cheerful and merry'. The yellow color is comforting. These plants brings so much life to our Plaza.

This yellow santan immediately caught my attention because I think this is more rare than the red one. Its shade of yellow isn't bright but it's still beautiful. I remember making bracelets and necklaces out of this when I was a child.

As you can see, greens are everywhere. Nature revives this small town.

I will forever be proud being for being from Vigan. There's something along the streets and corners that feels like home.

If you have time and tiny budget, you may visit the place and explore other towns as well. There are many treasures for you to discover!
