Becoming the Kind of Person You Want Around

In an attempt to get myself talking to the camera, I made AI give me good conversation starters so I could see how well I can talk while I get to remind myself of memories I may have forgotten if not asked. The move got me to a question that made me see myself deeper and realize a truth.

What kind of people do you enjoy being around? It may be a question many would answer easily because they have lots of people around or they know themselves and who compliments them best. But the question had me reflecting on myself more than thinking on the kind of people.

A lot of times, we are focused on how people can be of benefit to us and forget that we also should be benefit to people and that is, while we try to find our kind of people around us, we must be willing to be the kind of people they also want to be around with. It goes both ways and important.

So back to the question, I started the response with, "I am the kind of person who have moments of long talks, lots of laugh and moments of quietness mixed together", "I am the kind who loves to talk about certain topics in life, especially with my new becoming" and I also like to think I am kind and cool to be around with.

So the kind of people I'd want around are the ones who are free around me, like they could go from quiet to being talkatives without feeling that they are being controlled or restricted. It's same for when it's been a while we contacted each other, I'd want to flow with my people easily regardless of the time we may have spent apart.

On a lighter note, I want the kind of people who knows me well enough around me. But I'll also appreciate having strangers turn familiar faces because they are good observants, listeners and intentional about who they spend their time with, as I am trying to be. It'd be nice to have them.

The most important point of having people around is to grow, love and live in peace. I believe the right people will help you achieve that more easily even without trying hard, both online and offline. So the work here is, to be the kind of person that people want to be around with.
