One of the best part of communication is listening and somehow, that's the harder part to do for many. We always want to be heard, we want to always win, we want to always be seen as someone who talks well or does well. We sometimes fail to realize that others also want to be heard and that's why we should be listeners.

Well, I'm not talking about the importance of communication here but I'm referring to our individual lives where we keep wondering what our purpose is and how to live life better than we are at the moment. I've been on this quiet quest of searching for what I really want to do that will help me win while I serve others with what I have.
It's a roller coaster, I get confused a lot more time than when I have anything figured out. It's crazy because one moment I'm having this "aha" moment, excited to get something going and the next moment, I'm struggling to find a structure for how to keep it going because I've understood that consistency is what pays off in your actions.
All that thoughts, reflection and kinda frustration got me remembering a song I once played non stop for hours weeks back. It's one of the songs you get it's deep meaning after listening to it a good number of times. The song spoke to me better and I want it to speak to you too. It's a song that focuses on life's purposes and clarity.
"Glorious" is a beautiful song by "David Archuleta" and sang by the "One Voice Children Choir". I really think the song title could have been "Symphony" but Glorious still fits lol. That's on a lighter note, the song lyrics is where I found strength in continuing my search for what I really want to do and become. It's all about becoming.
It's like a symphony, just keep listening. And pretty soon you'll start to figure out your part.
The whole lyrics is beautiful and keeping you encouraged on your quest but this part of the song hits differently because of the word "Listening", the action you need to take to figure out in all of these and in life. It still goes back to "What you do" while you wait to figure things out, nothing comes to those who will do nothing.
One of the hardest truth I've come to accept while I'm on this phase of my life is to take action, I tend to do more learning of no action than actually putting to practice what I learn and I deceive myself that I'm growing just because I'm learning. Well, I know better now and procrastination has lost his power a little bit lol.
So in essence, I'm saying we all have something we're meant to do, don't stop listening and hear it when it's near because it definitely will. I'm saying this to myself and to you reading this, I pray we all find our right purposes, right moments, right people, right spaces as we continue to listen.

Listen more speak less. Listening helps you grow more than you doing the whole talking. Learn to listen more and speak less, but let those less words carry weight
