Now I can understand better your comment on my post.
I never had the idea that things in the future will be cheaper. Maybe never even thought about that. We do know that inflation is a vicious circle ans makes life just more expensive. There is nothing we can do about that. In Belgian there is a law which forces the companies to give a raise if life became so much more expensive. It is called the index. Within this index there are various stuf, from food to gasoline, from electricity to medical things. When this index crosses a mark, then salary raises have to been given. The company can decide when they do it, each time when the mark is crossed or once a year cummulative.

But tsome things are better than we were younger and others have become worse.

I don't think we have anything like that. Many times our raise barely covers the cost of living increase. It's horrible. We started to see cheaper and better with tech for a while there, but then everything just went to hell and now here we are.
