RE: Introvert Talks - A Quiet Christmas

Merry Christmas.

I had an enjoyable christmas which began with a cuddle with my guy, the best sort of present a girl could have, then he made breakfast for us which we ate outside with the birds and plants; it was quiet and so peaceful. We don't exchange gifts, but spoke about the year coming to an end, what we had done and achieved and what we would like to achieve in the coming year and then I went off to get ready to go out.

We had lunch and dinner with some of my family, not a large gathering but ten or so people who shared food preparation and eating together and many laughs over the day.

On the way home we decided on some movies to watch and after I had a bath and he a shower we settled in to watch. We weren't hungry so just had some tea and enjoyed a night cuddling on the couch watching two movies.

We both feel too much emphasis is put on material things at this time of the year so we focus on experiences, togetherness and to the enjoyment of life.

I think it's a little sad you spend christmas day alone and hope that this year is the last time that happens.
