RE: The Enemy Without, The Enemy Within

So we fight to win, the opportunity to prove our fitness in the ever-present struggle for survival of the strongest. However, as you so eloquently say, the “dance” cannot be performed alone; you learn to be quiet when you hear the signs. If provoked, it’s not always necessary to oppose, often the winds are stripped from the sails of anger by silence.

Facing debilitating illness is often an unsettling wake up call. It makes us reassess our options and take stock of our “assets” - you sat down and let it all pour out - probably the single most healing thing you could’ve done. The results are stunning BTW.

Strategy is everything but the “prize” must be worth winning and the “cost” of victory is often too high for sensible people to afford.

PS: So totally pleased to see this on my feed and have something refreshingly insightful to read on a Sunday morning.
