Hive Power Up Day - March 1st 2025: March Forward in March
Hi all, it is the 1st of March 2025, the months of festivities are over and two months just zoomed past us. And today, it is once again, Hive Power Up Day! It's been 2 months of celebrating festivities and spending time with our family and loved ones. Let's continue to show our support for the blockchain we all love and a fair bit of time on and take part in Hive Power Up Day!
I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is a very unique community that is filled with loads of information, special interest, life sharing and many more. The most amazing thing within Hive is that the community supports one another and grow together. And it is exactly all these amazing characteristic that we should render the support and build up the community by powering up our Hive.
Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!
Power Up?
By powering up our account, what does it bring?
- Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
- With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
- Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up February Month 2025
A shorter month than most months, it was a month of generally good growth which allowed me to continue growing my HP stakes to a very decent amount and increasing my influence in the blockchain.
My growth in HP in the second month of 2025 manage to gathere me 521 HP which is a good figure added to my growth, my sincere thanks to everyone whom had given me their support!
Every growth that I've managed improves my influence in the blockchain.
So let's see the status of the Hive Power Up Month:
Similar to January, I am part of the 53 people whom have been awarded this badge and I am really thankful for it.
And here's how it looked like on a daily basis to be able to obtain the badge. Thank you so much for all of your support to me.
Concluding
I am so glad that I've managed to find Hive through Splinterlands. And definitely Hive community is so much more diverse with loads of information to be found that fits everyone from all walks of life. The support that I get from everyone here is awesome and I know as we support one another, we can all make this blockchain even greater. While external situations are a little gloomy, the community spirit here lives on and grow from strength to strength!
I am working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency I am putting in to build up of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive hive gains, but I am strengthening each source to ensure I have enough for power up for each month. And I also seek your every support to walk with me to meet this further stretched goal. Many of you have given me so much support to allow me to reach where I am today.
