Hive Power Up Day - April1st 2025: Do Not Fool Around in This Month

Hi all, it is the 1st of April 2025, a quarter of 2025 just zoomed past us in a blink of an eye. And today, it is once again, Hive Power Up Day! Enough of fooling around and time to get a little serious so that we can steer ourselves back on track towards the goals that we've set for ourselves. Let's continue to show our support for the blockchain we all love and a fair bit of time on and take part in Hive Power Up Day!

I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is a very unique block chain made up of various communities and interest groups. There are many information that can be found here and loads of passion injected into each post for hobby, day to day sharing, coding, crypto and many more etc. A closely knitted community as well where support is being given to one another in an uplifting manner.

Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!

Power Up?
By powering up our account, what does it bring?

• Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
• With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
• Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up March Month 2025

A month where there is 31 days, this allowed me gather more HP since we had more days in this month and also steadily grow them as I gain more foothold and influence in the blockchain. However, the month itself was really hectic with new projects at work and also on my sideline demands were a little more than usual.

My growth in HP in the third month of 2025 manage to gathered me 681 HP which is a good figure added to my growth, my sincere thanks to everyone whom had given me their support!

Every growth that I've managed improves my influence in the blockchain.

So let's see the status of the Hive Power Up Month:

It was on 21st March that I was really unwell and I had to take the night off to rest and recover.

And here's how it looked like on a daily basis and I narrowly missed completing the Power Month due to a single day miss. I am disappointed but I know that, the condition of my body that day was really and thus the rest is really needed.

Concluding
I am really glad that I've managed to discover Hive through Splinterlands after purchasing a spellbook which lead me to Hive Keys and subsequently discovering the larger Hive community. And definitely Hive community is so much more diverse with loads of information to be found that fits everyone from all walks of life. The support that I get from everyone here is awesome and I know as we support one another, we can all make this blockchain even greater. While external situations are a little gloomy, the community spirit here lives on and grow from strength to strength!

I am working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency I am putting in to build up of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive hive gains, some parts of the power up is from the passive while the bulk still came from sources such as comment rewarder, liquid hive selling layer 2 token etc. No matter how, I will continue to improve my passive so that I can have enough to power up every month. It is not exactly very easy, but with determination, I will make sure this happens.
