Spot on. :) Many subjects you touched upon, but first there is lot of misconceptions about AI..Dare to say that 95 percent of people have no clue what actually AI is. (Hint, just a huge databases, algorithmically driven and controlled within neural networks).
Training literally means, filling up databases with data.
Has nothing to do with "intelligence" as people concieve it.
Reminds me on the beginnings of Internet or social media. It took time when an actual understanding of technology took place.
And yes..any kind of intelligence, organic or artificial by definition is a threat to this civilisation. No doubt about it. :)

How about "no intelligence"? Could that cause even bigger harm?
Btw, before creating this post, I ran into another phrase that boiled my blood... It was on a topic of upcoming elections and politics in "our country"... It was something like this...

I don't follow that much what is going on in "our country", and emotionally not connect to it that much.I wish them well tho.
Internet when it began it resembled library, after social media it resembles more pubs or folk festivals. Bear and sausages.:) Nothing new, it is just much more prevalent and visible.
Media are also to blame. You have now basically only tabloid, yellow paper media.
