When a drop of water falls into mud it becomes part of the mud
When the same drop goes into sugarcane it becomes part of the sweetness,
If it falls on a hot pan, it burns and disappears,
And if it is on a smooth surface, it shines like a pearl,
But when the same drop reaches an oyster, it itself becomes a pearl.

The drop was the same everywhere, the only difference was its environment and place. In the same way, a person also adapts to his company and environment.

Good company refines a person, takes him up.
