It's hard to keep up with positivity with all the shit happening around... I blame history... If I didn't know how it COULD be and how it WAS, I would be more positive... But that also works the other way around: if you know how it was in the bad times, you know that this isn't as bad as it could be... Yesterday, I talked with a childhood friend, and at one point he told me something like I put in the title... "It looks like you are converting into "that" grumpy old guy"... Fair enough... Maybe I do...

I don't deny it... I try to understand why... I try to understand the trigger... Maybe to "isolate" it, or ignore it, and try to "un-grumpy" myself... 😃 Let me explain... As I previously explained, I hate the word "hate", so I will try to replace it with "dislike"... But you can interpret it as you wish...

I dislike hearing those loud motorcycles on the street, in the middle of the night, with illegally tuned-up exhausts... I don't understand why someone would do it. I know teenagers do not need specific reasons... Maybe to stick out, or to be noticed, or to blend-in to others... As a matter of fact, it doesn't matter why... It's annoying; it's disturbing to 99% of people, and it's not respectable...

Speaking of which, when I wanted to understand WHY, I got to the point where 2 reasons stick out... Something that I can't accept, and I was raised differently... I was raised to call my grandparents Mr or Mrs, and to shut up when they were speaking... Even if I thought I was right... I would shut up and listen... Maybe not accept it, but will listen with respect... I couldn't do shit like these teenagers with motorcycles under the window at 2 AM... C'mon... My neighbours would kick my ass, and later on, my parents would do the same... 😂

The other word is "responsibility"... In this microwave society, everyone thinks NOW is the most important, as if there is no future at all... Whatever shit I do today, nobody would keep me accountable tomorrow... Well, in some way that's understandable, as we have so many bad examples out there, so we can't blame youngsters and kids for imitating them... Politicians, musicians, junk influencers, etc.

"Whatever I do at home is my business, and it has nothing to do with my work/job, or anything else..."

That would be true if you didn't put all your "home shenanigans" online, on YT, TikTok, or other social media... How the f^&% can I put in trust my life to a doctor who does illegal street racing in his free time? Or preaching you're a vegan on the Internet and having dinners at Popeye's... Don't tell me you can be irresponsible at home and serious and accountable at work...

It's very nice and appealing to live without responsibility... Imagine having kids and having 0 responsibility toward them? Oh, it's happening in some families... It is appealing, almost like living without a brain... No brain, no pain...

We need to pull the handbrake ASAP... I don't see the current scenario developing in a good direction... Or maybe AI will be more responsible than we are and could save us all? I don't know... I'm just a grumpy old fart...
