Our planet always holds little, traveled corners, many of them right close to home, and you have the good fortune of having this stunning spot all to yourself: secluded and perfect for photography and sharing here on Worldmappin. I don't think it matters that the end of the trip was a bit of a letdown; the rest of the journey was a visual delight. Even the slightly murky water becomes a minor detail when you have that blue sky and clouds resting on the horizon as a backdrop ❤️ It is a truly beautiful place, my friend; I, too, would have driven through several towns just to spend some time in the peace you’ve shared here.

So many great memories came back listening to Metallica and Offspring! Those were some of the bands I would listen to in the pubs during my late teenage days... 😃 Foo Fighters came a bit later, so they weren't on my music list... But Offspring, along with Green Day, were some of my favs from that time... 🤘🍻

I completely agree, that place, the kingdom of the waters, is more than just a natural spot; you can really feel the positive energy there, and the variety of vegetation makes a stroll through it even more appealing. I love the mushrooms you’ve found, although I wouldn’t eat them just to be on the safe side, and the moss looks so beautiful… What a paradise. Yes, I know Cuba has some dreamlike natural spaces; it’s in a special spot and its natural beauty is amazing.

Fatboy Slim II for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 278 - win some HBI by @ablaze

I loved Fatboy Slim; he represents a great era in my life. Not just because of You've Come a Long Way, Baby, but also Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars, which is actually my favorite album, since I was a teenager back then and really appreciated the music. I thought his music videos from that time were brilliant, fun, and highly original. It’s great that you’re featuring them in #TTT; I’ll definitely be listening to and reminiscing over this music this week. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, sometimes life gets complicated and it’s hard to be here every day, but the good thing is that we always come back to Hive.

What a fabulous story! And, starting at the end, I’d say it shows that cats protect us from the dark side, the one we often cannot see with our human eyes, but which those of us with a sensitivity beyond what is comprehensible can sense.
That we are nothing without our shadows, or rather, that it is the shadows that keep us human and not made of stone… that’s a good question. I still have my shadow, but if one day it were to disappear, I’d go looking for them!!
