OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem, where quality posts are curated. Authors are encouraged to continue creating content, adding value to various communities, and contributing to Hive in general.

Occasionally, we will select a couple of outstanding posts that we find particularly interesting and suggest them for your further reading... We hope it will help authors as an additional promotional tool... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes add extra value to the entire ecosystem, helping authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

What you wrote about neighbours in Nigeria was the same at my place too! I remember my neighbours watching my sister and me, coming to our home to play cards, and exchanging tasty cakes whenever there was some... My mom would send me to ask if something was needed for lunch preparation, but also, she would send me to give away a plate full of freshly baked cookies!
I spent a lot of time on the street playing fun children's games, or football with my neighbours, or playing against other neighbours! Nice memories!

The highlight of your Wednesday outing and walk was your friend’s kindness and support, something you hadn’t expected. Lovely surprises are always a pleasure, and you’ve also taken some lovely photos of your short stay in Calcula, even though it was early, there were quite a few people at the airport. It’s brilliant that you’ve had this chance to travel to places you haven’t visited before and have new experiences; travelling is always enriching.

Apart from that personal disaster at the end, which is sorted out by lip-reading, the place you visited is incredible. I can see why they call it the City of the Dead: so much white marble, so clean… is it because it looks like a mausoleum? Or is it because there are so few people on the streets? The truth is, it really does have that surreal atmosphere, with that sculpture and its pigeons, which looks marvellous. And the bank building is incredible!

Bravo my friend! You hit the nail on the head with this week's theme, as this is the sound we were looking to explore, plus, your voice naturally conveys such tenderness. I think Sin Bandera's repertoire always has something perfect for every Hive Open Mic theme, hahaha.

I remember those days too! Even before "the internet on the phone", I remember I had limited Wi-Fi internet at home, with an antenna on the roof... It came with some ridiculously low speed, but it was enough to check out the email, discuss on public forums, read some news portals, and chat over IRC...
Today is exactly like you said... With just a few scrolls down, you spend 5GB in a minute on Instagram... 😃

Yes, it’s a song that fits well with the week's theme, although for this edition, we wanted to emphasize romantic love, as shown in the main image for Week 335. Still, it’s great to see artists let their creativity soar without limits. I had never heard this song before; the lyrics are beautiful and convey such tenderness, reflecting the composer's deep devotion.
