Whenever I see some deep-sea photos, I feel tricked as they look like they were taken somewhere in space or from another planet... A similar thing happens by looking at photos like the ones you shared- those taken with macro lenses, showing the tiny world and life happening so close to us, but without even noticing it...
Just recently, I was wondering how those horror movies/books writers get ideas for their work... Well, they probably just zoom in on all those spiders, make them bigger, and there we go... 😂

I suppose you answered yourself in that sentence... Can a river go upstream, or does it flow in one direction? 🙂 I mean, our life begins with our parents, but it's not the beginning of everything; our parents had their parents... And priorities are changing, with, I suppose, the needs of others... Our children need us when they are small... When they grow up, they have their own children, and they don't need us anymore...
On the other side, as we get older, we do need help, and the obvious direction is to ask for it from our children... I don't know what the right thing to do is, but leaving our parents to struggle alone in old age isn't the right choice either... As usual, the answer is to make a balance between the needs of the young and old...
Not sure if the "old way" of living under 1 roof was the right answer either... Generation gap, misunderstandings, and harder connections with others outside the family...

Similarly to you, I came into social media when Facebook was the "one and only", or the god of all (non-existent at that time) socials... Like you, when others started to pop out, I ignored them and could proudly say that I had no Instagram account at all!
Speaking of fakeness, I don't see too much things changed regarding that except of the tool how they are made... Even before, the whole IG thing and shares were fake lives all around, and today is the same, but created with AI... 😂
Thankful to have HIVE, and a place where it's possible to find genuine people... At least that's what I found valuable... the real communication, real lives, and real people...

The story is absolutely incredible, and it shows that greed, whether for a prize, to stand out, or to be better than others, even if the motive isn’t money, can lead to chilling consequences. It’s also clear from the story that, in her eagerness to win the prize, the girl turned to a stranger and drank that drink… she wasn’t cautious. But she was blinded by the prospect of winning and having everyone see her. Good or bad energy comes round in life. Thank you so much for taking part, Ana, and for being part of the community.
