OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem, where quality posts are curated. Authors are encouraged to keep creating content, adding value to various communities, and contributing to Hive overall.

Created in Canva.com

Occasionally, we will select a couple of outstanding posts that we find particularly interesting and suggest them for your further reading... We hope this helps authors as an additional promotional tool... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, as well in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes add extra value to the entire ecosystem, helping authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

Recovery Account & proper backup of Keys by @thekittygirl

Thank you very much for creating this post! With so many phishing and scamming attempts recently, this post is more important than ever!
As you mentioned this a few days ago, you reminded me to check my settings and to see who my recovery account is... Since I have multiple accounts, I had to check. I did what you described in your 2nd example, and luckily, I didn't... But... My OG account had a person who isn't on HIVE anymore listed as a recovery account! 😱
That's fixed now... Waiting for those 30 days to become active!

Pickleball and a neighborhood walk: October 21 2026 by @jayna

Always great to see some autumn colors! There is something magical and relaxing about walking through the woods in autumn... The smell, the air- I don't know what it is, but it's therapeutic... 🙂
Btw, those stairs inside the lighthouse reminded me of the stairs in Lisbon, Portugal, designed by the Eiffel... The same one who designed the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris!

I developed diffidence to users with high KE ratio on the Hive blockchain by @behiver

I do agree with almost everything you shared, and I have one difference: my personal perspective on KE, or, better said, on Hive Power itself... For me, HivePower is much more than a "loyalty to the chain", or an investment, or a commitment...
HivePower is exactly what it says: POWER... Power to help others with my upvote, supporting others by giving monetary value to their posts, exactly what others are doing FOR ME when they upvote my stuff!
So, when someone loads off ALL (a part is OK) their earnings, I tend to see a person who thinks only about themselves, and not about anyone else... Hive isn't like other social media, and exactly that "community support" makes it different, unique, special, and beautiful...
There is no "magical internet money"; upvotes on posts come from people who care, who want to support others, and the platform itself...

How To Get Ahead in Exploitative Environment by @macchiata

I understand you perfectly and I agree with the points you’ve raised. I was brought up, educated, studied and worked as many hours as I possibly could, and even so I couldn’t achieve my goals or make enough progress. My brother used to say to me: ‘This country punishes success’, and it was true, which is why we emigrated. The early days are never easy, in fact, they’re very tough, but you live in peace, and that’s priceless. Your analysis is spot on, and your thoughts could help a lot of people. Always keep moving forward.

News from my backyard/Novedades de mi patio (Eng-Esp) by @kpoulout

Reading your post reminded me of when my brother and I created our own vegetable patch at my grandmother’s house, back when we lived in Argentina. We always had fruit trees, but we lacked vegetables, and growing our own really helped us financially, as you quite rightly say, as well as being good for the environment. I’ve never kept animals for food, but I have tried hare, which is very similar to rabbit, though it’s wild. You’ve made a good decision; with the economy being so tough, we need to look for alternatives, and this is a very good one. Well done to you both. I know looking after the garden takes a lot of work, and you’re doing a brilliant job.

Un disfraz sencillo 🎃☠️[Esp/Eng] by @audiarmisg

It really is a pleasure to see you here at this special time of year, and especially with such an original, creative and, above all, DIY contribution. I really appreciate art, and this sort of make-up is very much a form of art. We’re moving away from stories and delving into the world of horror art. I wanted the initiative to include this sort of thing, and you’re the first to take part in this way, thank you so much!!
