OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem, where quality posts are curated. Authors are encouraged to keep creating content, adding value to various communities, and contributing to Hive overall.

Occasionally, we will select a couple of outstanding posts that we find particularly interesting and suggest them for your further reading... We hope this helps authors as an additional promotional tool... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, as well in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes add extra value to the entire ecosystem, helping authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

Recently, I watched a video by a YouTuber who visited El Salvador to see how it goes with BTC adoption "on the ground", and he had a similar response to you in Hong Kong... Everyone is talking about mass adoption there, but the "BTC hype" is fading away among retail users, small businesses, etc. Also, even the government is saying how big they are on the crypto side, while doing the complete opposite, pushing crypto to the side...
Honestly, until crypto goes down, that is what is expected to see...

Lately, I’ve found myself complaining a lot—which isn’t usually like me. Reading your post reminded me that I have good health, and that’s the most important thing, as everything else stems from it. I’m so glad I came across your post; not only did it give me pause for thought, but it also kept you in my mind—I’m sending you all the best energy during these tougher times, and I truly hope things start looking up for you. Around Halloween—even though it’s not a tradition we follow—I always have a little ritual of watching themed movies. Massachusetts has actually come up quite a bit in our home since the weekend! 🤭 Your photos remind me just how special it is, with its colors and climate. It’s a dream of mine to visit—it would certainly be quite an experience, especially since I live in an environment with an extreme tropical climate every single day.

As I have an older sister, I remember being jealous of her so many times when we were kids... From an early age, I felt the same way you did: jealousy is a bad "feeling," and we should suppress it! Just recently, while talking with a friend, I told her, "I'm jealous of you!" and she replied, "I hope positively, as positively jealous..."
That was the moment I realized jealousy can work FOR US! Rolling back my memories from childhood... If I wasn't jealous of my sister, I wouldn't try to be better than her; I wouldn't push myself to be a better person!
So, jealousy can be positive... Of course, if we don't get that dangerous line of getting sick and obsessed with someone else...

That bridge really reminds me of one I crossed when I was your age; it creaked just as you say, but bits of it were missing too, which really scared me. But on the other hand, it’s lovely that you get to discover places through the stories your grandad tells you, as well as going there with him and feeling safe.
I couldn’t stop looking at those clouds reflected on the water, they’re absolutely gorgeous, as are the reflections of the vegetation. It’s a lovely place to go for a walk with the family and see the river like that.

As I read on, I found myself getting more and more drawn into the story, wondering what on earth was happening. I’d even thought it might be something from another world that had taken shape, but in reality, it had existed and had been linked to her like twins, though with very different energies; and from the other side, the realm of the dead, it returned to bring about the change. I love your creativity and imagination; I wonder what aspects of your own life you’ve drawn on, because you always do.

A story I can relate to and which could well be true; let me know if it was, because I’ve seen similar things, though not in my own life yet, and I know I’ll see them one day. You never know when the call will come for people, but it comes for us all; some are afraid, others aren’t. Your story is excellent; I like the use of rhyme within the narrative; it reminds me of my own.
