A Day of Reflection by @rozioo

Wow... That cemetery at night looks so bright and spectacular... At least on All Saints' Day, it is full of life and, of course, full of nice memories... Everyone who is there brings at least a couple of them... I know I would bring a bunch... A warm evening with grandparents, fishing with my grandad, or pulling a cart full of flowers to the market with my grandmother...
Interestingly, I didn't notice something, as you shared here in Spain, despite them trying to send the "religious" image... It wasn't even a festive day... When I was living close to my parents, and close to the cemeteries where my deceased family is, we would go on All Saints' Day and light a candle for loved ones...

Are We Doomed or Are We Just Playing a Survival Game While the Elites Watch? by @macchiata

image.png

There’s one thing you said that really caught my attention, and that’s the question of whether it’s actually a warning or a distraction. I’ve been researching topics like this for many years, and much of what appears in the news is a distraction; it isn’t real, but it’s necessary to keep people occupied, for example by putting together a survival kit whilst things are happening that we never find out about.
Fiction films are often not just fiction; they leave us with messages about things that are happening but which we ignore. A blackout could indeed happen, but perhaps governments are involved for various reasons. It’s a fascinating topic you’ve raised, and one that offers plenty to discuss.

My language learning strategy: nodding and hoping for the best by @steemflow

image.png

I can totally relate to your experience with learning other languages; the way you’ve been treated and the uncomfortable moments you’ve faced really highlight that many of us feel the same way. In my own country, there are indigenous languages, too, though they’re spoken in very remote areas, and I’ve never quite understood why we Venezuelans don’t place more value on them, focusing instead solely on Spanish. I’ve been studying English for years, but I lack the practice, mostly because I hardly ever leave these four walls, haha! I hope things get better for you over time; it’s not an easy situation. It actually surprises me a bit, since it seems more common in your area to learn various dialects—but then again, everyone is different. I’m sure you’ll come across plenty of kind people, even if you don’t speak their local language.

I Wish I'd Met Me Back Then by @artemisnorth.com

image.png

That's an interesting point of view... Whenever I think about what I would say to myself if I were to time travel to the past, it would be a lottery combination or "BUY BITCOIN!" 😂
On a more serious note, and to answer your question, I did walk away a couple of times... Most of the time, the reason for doing it was a lack of money and financing for the continuation of the project(s)... Interestingly, when I look back, if I hadn't quit and pushed for a year or two more, it would be a completely different story... So, I suppose I would tell myself to have more patience and persistence... As success is always behind the next corner... The question is... How far is that corner, and how long do you have to stay under the sun, on the open road...

Hiking – Walking along the city walls – Gibralfaro Castle in its forest park 📷 Málaga – Spain by @avdesing

image.png

A wooded park with well-marked trails, how wonderful! And the best part is discovering what awaits at the summit at the end of the hike. I love castles and towers; they are experiences I’ve had very few times in my life. You know I’ve fallen in love with Málaga through what I’ve seen in your posts; it’s clear that you love this city and have explored it with all your heart, a passion that truly comes across to others.

Mi mejor disfraz (Esp/Eng) by @marydeluz

image.png

The truth is, if I were in that situation, it would terrify me, a spirit speaking to me like that and making things move, but when I got to the end of the story, I even had a laugh because the son in law hadn’t expected that to happen and the man was simply standing there. Your stories are always so witty, with endings nobody can predict, as well as those entertaining, everyday dialogues, and I love that; it makes your story feel more real and relatable. Thank you for taking part in the initiative, which is now practically over.
