Making Achu Murukku for Deepavali Festival by @yashny

That is such a cool preparation process! I remember when my grandmother would prepare donuts; she would have different tricks for making them the right shape, but I never saw something like this... A mold for such a small snack, like those you can buy in the supermarket...
Thanks for sharing the process... It is indeed interesting and curious...

Two Weeks, Two Hospitals, and way too much Drama by @tinabrezpike

I knew it! When I noticed there were no posts or updates from you, something was happening... And it looks like it was a lot... A lot more than "usual"! As you didn't mention your "other half", I hope at least he was spared health issues this time!!! And regarding the rest, I truly wish all the best for your family and ZERO health issues for the next 10 or 20 years, as you had enough of those for a lifetime... SO sorry to hear all these things happening to you, but also happy to hear that you get out of it stronger and positive!

The Black Pearl and Other Little Giants / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP] by @rg2-foto

I’m absolutely amazed by what I see; I can only think that it’s a marvellous art form, and it reminds me of a lad I once met, a friend’s brother, who used to make them but would place them inside a bottle, assembling them whilst they were inside; it took great skill. But what I see here is even better; every piece is handcrafted, not mass-produced, so the artistic value is spectacular. I love the details, both those created by the craftspeople and those you managed to capture with your camera. And the Perla Negra is absolutely fabulous!! It’s a privilege that you were there at that moment.

The Long Game by @bozz

Your update post looks like a general, macro market recap... You have it all... 😃
Touching the grass at the beginning, a reflection on midterm elections, a crypto update with concerns and possible obstacles... Picking up some silver, as this does look like we hit at least a local bottom (if not a cycle bottom), and finishing with data centers that got hit heavily yesterday... Speaking of them, I had a nice chat with my son about it... I also don't believe the AI development will stop, but it can definitely slow down a bit... Which isn't that bad, as some people freak out and sell stocks like there is no tomorrow... 😃
I like boring... I like 15-20% per year... 😃 I mean, it's nice to have 100-200%, but I don't mind less... 😃

Brazalete con motivo a mi bandera 🇻🇪. Bracelet with my flag design. by @creacioneslelys

Knitting really is an art form and a form of therapy too. I remember my grandmother and her sister were excellent knitters; they could even knit without looking at what they were doing. They’d spend whole afternoons at it, as if it were an extension of themselves, and it really helped them relax. What’s more, there’s so much creativity in the pieces they make, and I absolutely loved that bracelet; I could picture all sorts of different flags being created. It’s brilliant to see you knitting, and I can see you’ve really improved the layout of your posts. I love how it looks.

A recent visit to this charming, natural spot: Laguna Brava (Esp/Eng). by @jlufer

image.png

I was absolutely enchanted by the place, especially the footbridges that lead to those viewing platforms, ideal for admiring nature and, if possible, the local wildlife. The only thing is, I wouldn’t want to come face to face with a crocodile, but I’d love to see all those birds and other animals mentioned on the signs. It’s brilliant that they took the opportunity to build the footbridges whilst the water levels were down. And another important thing is that you don’t have to travel long distances to get there.
