Beautiful exhibition of paintings at the Cumaná Athenaeum (Eng - Esp) by @belkyscabrera

image.png

What a wonderful exhibition, and such a cultural way to celebrate the city’s anniversary. I really liked the introduction you gave at the start, to set the scene and tell us a bit about the place, where it’s located, and describe it in such detail. I love the interior with that garden.
But what I liked even more was all the art on display there. The pencil drawings are very good. Of course, there are different styles and some works are better than others. My favourites are the woman in the yellow dress and the portrait next to it; they’re perfect, though I also liked the landscape with the boats. There are many styles and levels of skill. The anime pieces are also very well done, and what matters is the art and culture. Thank you so much for bringing this exhibition here; it’s been brilliant to walk around the venue looking at all of it.

Collecting books since I was ten by @qwerrie

image.png

*That's a lot of books! 😱 It's obvious that books are your life! Or, is your life a book? 😃
I spotted in the photos some of the authors I read, but I don't have my "personal" library at home, as you do... 😃 Not sure if I have more than 5 books in my collection (excluding comics 😃)
On the other hand, I do remember my high school days, when I was visiting a public library multiple times per week, reading books like crazy... I can clearly remember my "book" journey... As my older sister introduced me to the library, my first books were "detective niche", standard Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, and later on some French writers, whose names I have forgotten (Fantomas series, and a few others)... After that, I moved to SciFi, with American writers... When I finished them, I remember reading a few Russian SciFi writers, which were on a completely different level than Americans... (level of SciFi imagination 😃)... The next stop was some "local" (ex-Yugoslavia) drama/theater pieces... After that, I fell in love with Russian novelists *

Packaging Collection - Model No. 03 / Colección Empaques - Modelo Nro. 03 by @yennysferm71

I recently gave away a little cup. This little box would have definitely helped me present the gift better, and it would have been something I made myself, hehehe. The good thing is that I still have it here to refer to in case I ever give another gift. Everything is so pretty.

Roca Project: Un podcast donde las palabras valen [ESP-ENG] by @davidpena21

image.png

I’ve been subscribed to the Roca Project channel for quite some time now, because when I first came across the channel it was through a video someone sent me about coming back from the dead; I was so fascinated that I couldn’t stop watching it – that video and many others. That’s because the topics it covers are right up my street, and I like the fact that it features professional guests who can verify things I’ve known for a long time, but without scientific proof.
The topics you’ve covered are really interesting, all three videos, though, as you mention, everything on that channel is excellent. A single episode tackles numerous topics, and it’s amazing. It’s one of my favourite channels because I love topics explored in depth, especially with such high quality.

(ESP-ENG) Manualidad Escolar: Maqueta de Isla venezolana con relieve y texturas | School Craft Project: Model of a Venezuelan Island with Relief and Textures🏝👩‍🎨 by @yagelybr

image.png

It turned out really nice. For a moment, I was transported back to those days when I used to do my school projects, models, and all that. I really liked the little animals; they look great in relief like that. And the sand part is pretty cool, too.
