OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem, where quality posts are curated. Authors are encouraged to continue creating content, adding value to various communities, and contributing to Hive in general.

Occasionally, we will select a couple of outstanding posts that we find particularly interesting and suggest them for your further reading... We hope it will help authors as an additional promotional tool... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes add extra value to the entire ecosystem, helping authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

Your thoughts today really struck a chord with me. Many people say that it’s best to live in the present and focus on it, rather than living with one’s mind on the future, but they don’t explain why or what the point of doing so is. The reason is that it is the present that shapes the future, and if we don’t believe that today is the best it can be, we won’t create a good future. Today’s thoughts and actions shape what comes next. So those people who live in the future actually miss out on creating it; they merely idealise it.
That is why the present is the best there is, because it will create the best that can be. I agree with your thinking.

I don't know where to start after reading your post... Regarding the real estate market, the same thing is happening in Spain... The gap between rich and poor is growing, and the middle class is disappearing... For (local) young people, it's almost impossible to buy a home, as there is no way to collect enough for the "entrance", and paying the mortgage for 50 years is crazy...
And regarding the mural, I like these "social awareness" artworks, which remind us about our weaknesses, our failure, and trying to push us to do better, to be better... There is no "nice way" to tell the rough truth, but there is no better wake-up call than that... I didn't know about the story of Alan Kurdi, so I followed your link to find more details about it... It's very sad to see people becoming more and more selfish, seeing so many divorced couples where children pay the price, and exploiting other tragedies is probably the worst thing of all... 😞

I’ve just finished reading the story and I realise I’m in tears. It’s beautiful! Did you know that souls can make agreements about what comes next? They can do so—for instance, deciding not to go through a certain situation again, or choosing to be reunited with someone: a family member, a lover, a child.
It reminded me of something a very wise friend once told me: that no one in my family was from my previous life, not even my friends. I’m still searching for someone from my past life. But this story is deeply moving and could very well be true – souls can seek each other out and find one another. I absolutely loved it!! Thank you so much for taking part in the initiative once again.

I have to admit, this is absolutely gorgeous! It’s definitely one of the cutest characters I’ve seen on your blog. Mainly because Chopper is so charming, and your style makes them look even better. Congratulations on such beautiful work!

An incredible tribute to the legend that is Chuck Norris. You undoubtedly have an incredible talent for capturing the expression of this legendary actor so masterfully. Chuck Norris didn't die; death didn't come for him, so he went out to find it himself...

There are definitely songs that touch your soul right away, it’s happened to me many times—and that music stays with us forever, just like the feeling we had the first time we heard it. This is a great choice, and the best part is that you’re sharing it on Hive Open Mic. It’s always a pleasure to have you here my dear...
