OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem, where quality posts are curated. Authors are encouraged to continue creating content, adding value to various communities, and contributing to Hive in general.

Occasionally, we will select a couple of outstanding posts that we find particularly interesting and suggest them for your further reading... We hope it will help authors as an additional promotional tool... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes add extra value to the entire ecosystem, helping authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

When I was studying, my roommate was exploring the (real) history of Count Dracula, and I had a chance to hear the truth about it... Recently, I came across a travel YouTube video again, where the guy was visiting the entire area in Romania, including the castle itself. It appears that Vlad III wasn't only the ruler of that region but also a significant defender of Christianity, as he halted the Turkish invasion of Europe, which would have altered the entire history of our continent.
Thanks for sharing your photos from the visit to the castle! That secret passage looks really cool! How did you enter it? Was it a secret door or?

Let's make a plan... You know I'm not a beer drinker, but I like these places in outskirst of the city, hidden from the rush of a big city... So, next visit to Prague, we are going to 3-4 places like this, and leave ladies to go around the city, chasing shops and castles... 😃
Those "now and then" photos are awesome! The policeman on the bike was a nice touch! 😃

Maymay is really beautiful, as soon as I saw her she reminded me of my Cata who is already 13 years old, but when she was little she looked just like yours. Cata as well as Tony, my two kittens, I had them sterilised as soon as they were 6 months old, so I haven't had any kittens from them. But Maymay will be a mum now and I'm sure that as sweet and affectionate as she is, she will take good care of her children, which could be four.
You can see that she gets on very well with people and also with other cats, she is very friendly, you can see that she has not been mistreated before being abandoned. Now she is in a home where she is loved and cared for. They give a lot of love.

The decoration of the notebook is absolutely beautiful, inspired by autumn, which really is a great inspiration for many, because of its colours and yes, also for writing poems. I like the distribution of the stickers and also the background you created previously, all in harmony of colours.
But I think what I looked at first, even without reading, were the phrases you chose to colour, they are very meaningful, talking about life and love, such important feelings and indeed life is that a great adventure, an exploration that brings teachings and on the other hand love makes everything possible, everything, it is a wonderful force.

Happy start to the week! Seeing these photos reminds me that I almost went for the first time a few weeks ago when I was still on vacation, but it was January 3rd and all my plans were automatically canceled. Your photos of Maracay are beautiful; it's a perfect angle to appreciate the buildings with Lake Valencia in the background, unlike the Ocumara road, which is farther away. I hope to see and photograph it someday. In the meantime, I'm enjoying this post.

This dessert reminds me a lot of some of the desserts my grandmother used to make, from whom I learnt to cook. There wasn't much money back then, when I was a child, and citrus desserts were the cheapest to make, either with lemon zest or orange juice. When I saw your dessert it took me back in time and I felt like I was in my grandmother's lemon-scented kitchen.
It's a practical recipe, with simple materials and it's within everyone's reach, besides that kind of delicious dessert. I love the icing and the presentation looks spectacular. Thank you so much for this recipe!
