Looking Back, Letting Go, and Moving Forward (ENG-GER) by @mers

image.png

Your great flower photos reminded me of the period when I was publishing my daily Actifit reports with a lot of flower photos... I don't have my plants at home (my wife does), but I do like to photograph and enjoy wildflowers on the street, in the forest... Interestingly, I have a sensation that being close to flowers and enjoying them already heals our body and soul... and by reading your post and reflection, it looks like it does the same to you too!
Have a great weekend and continue challenging yourself, as you did with scuba diving!

Happy 2nd anniversary, Shangri and Nala!!! It looks like the day when they found their home is their second birthday, as it completely changed their lives! From a noisy shelter to a welcoming, peaceful home and caring "parents"!
Only by seeing these photos can everyone realize that these are two HAPPY CATS!

The Black Hole by @coinjoe

image.png

I think we’ve all been in a dark place at some point, for various reasons; life seems to put these situations in our path, perhaps to make us reflect or to show us what it’s like to fall and get back up again, and you’ve done just that. I’ve felt lost, adrift, not knowing what to do, but suddenly a light appears, or someone creates a light for us. Looking back isn’t a bad thing; the problem is getting stuck there. It should simply serve to help us learn from what happened and give us the strength to move forward.
We’re here to experience all sorts of things, and we come out on top when we shake off pain or hardship quickly. Jump out of that hole and see how beautiful life is.

DOGS, PEOPLE, AND EVEN A SQUIRREL! - (PHOTOHTAPHY SERIES) by @jlinaresp

image.png

That really is a tropical drama, everything happens at once, and the worst bits are the humidity and the mosquitoes, although power cuts bring life to a standstill these days. Your refuge is photography, and I think that’s brilliant because it can help lift your spirits. I’ve heard it’s been raining in many parts of Venezuela and has even caused flooding. The planet seems a bit unsettled, as if it’s finally complaining about all the mistreatment, what do you think?
But I look at the photos and admire your work, those glances down at the ground searching for an answer, or the dogs greeting you, perhaps that beautiful squirrel playing, but with the mist always present.

R.I.P Tim Curry - The Legendary Pennywise - Fan art Drawing [ENG-ESP] by @fixie

image.png

I heard about Tim Curry’s passing and he really was a great actor, very versatile, playing such a wide range of characters, and, as you say, rather odd ones. You’ve paid him a wonderful tribute with this drawing; I’d say it’s a brilliant piece, and I always love the way you choose to use ticket stubs as your canvas, it’s quite different from anything else I see here. The character you’ve chosen is iconic and will always be remembered for it; what I like most is the realism of the eyes, it’s as if they’re about to pop right off the paper, which is quite terrifying.

A Quiet Morning at Vadistanbul Before Meeting My Friends (eng-tr) by @oneplanet

image.png

It looks like every building or street in Vadistanbul is younger than 30-40 years... I suppose that part of Istanbul didn't even exist before, or I could be wrong... 🤔
Being an introvert myself, I would probably pick the same early-morning hours as you for a visit to a place like that... During the evening and nights, it's probably overcrowded... Having a nice, relaxed coffee with friends in the morning is the best thing... Also, our brains work the best then, and brainstorming ideas with friends along with cold or hot coffee is on point!
