It has been so many years since I read Treasure Island that I don't even remember what it is about... 😔 But, it has to be cool to go to the same school as the author of such a famous book (and other books)... From a similar niche, I remember one specific book that hooked me into Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's literature... Surprisingly, the first book that I read from him wasn't about Sherlock Holmes, but one of the adventures of Professor Challenger, in the book The Lost World! I suppose I read Treasure Island at a similar age...

Recently, I've also been distancing myself a lot from Hollywood movies as almost all are very similar... But, the cast for this one is very intriguing, and if the camera and scenes are as good as you said, it could be worth watching...
Thanks for the honest review of the movie, and it's hard to "invent" something new in this genre, so I believe it's "unoriginal" like you said... 😃 Usually, actors give that "special something" and these guys are capable of doing it for sure!

It’s definitely a cat, and I absolutely love Gimli!! And it’s not just any cat, but one with real style, a unique style, not just a 2D print. I went to check out the advert and got an error message, but never mind; what matters here is the brilliant way you managed to create the cat using scraps of fabric. As soon as I saw it, without reading the caption, I thought he was wearing a scarf and a hat because he was cold, and that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I love cats, I’m fascinated by cats, and yours is authentic and genuine , I love it!!

When you walk around with no other plan than to discover surprises, they come your way, just like in this case. The buildings are beautiful; I love the colonial style. The arches and columns really stand out, lending each house and building a sense of grandeur and significance. It’s true that they might need a little maintenance, but even so, they stand out and seem to want to contrast with and beautify their surroundings. I love that there are plenty of trees and greenery; it creates very attractive views and makes for a beautiful place to explore, even if two hours have passed. As you say, it’s a shame not to explore these spaces.
