It’s been lovely to accompany you on your journey through the city streets to the religious event, and seeing all those people gathered to commemorate Good Friday, as well as watching the dancers rehearse, was also really lovely.
But when I got to the part with the artworks, the sculptures... I said, ‘Wow, it’s incredible!!!’ I not only love the combination of wood and metal, but also that deep sense of connection to the land that you mention. The shields are truly amazing, and seeing the works in which you use everyday objects like clocks, I can assure you I was absolutely enchanted. There’s so much style and that craftsmanship you mention, but also a great deal of passion for art. What a wonderful exhibition, I loved it!!

It’s the personal experiences we had as children that make us look back fondly on those cartoons; the memory of watching them with your siblings is priceless. I particularly loved the story you told us about your little brother, it seems he always won the right to choose what they watched on the telly; thank goodness they had similar tastes.
I remember the first cartoon very well; The Flintstones were also among my favourites and were great fun. As we didn’t have pay-TV at home, the other two couldn’t watch them, but I’m familiar with them and the last anecdote about the stone and ‘it’s your turn’ really caught my attention. Just kids’ stuff. Thank you for your lovely contribution to the initiative, bringing back important and unforgettable memories from your childhood.

I love discovering that La Castellina is one of those places you start to enjoy even before you arrive, thanks to the beauty of the journey there; and then you show us that its style is practically medieval, secluded and tucked away amidst the mountains, almost to the point of seeming unreal. The weather doesn't disappoint either; for someone like me, who practically lives in the Caribbean, this feels like a completely different and fascinating world. You know I’m a huge fan of Catholic churches; I only wish I could admire every single one of them in the time I have left! Haha.

What a brilliant story!! So moving and profound, weaving the central theme together with love and memories or feelings whose origins are unclear, because they haven’t been experienced in this lifetime. People who pay attention to this know it; people who don’t just go through life on autopilot, those people remember fragments of other times, or at least feel that there is something more they cannot explain, just as happens to the protagonist of this story, who, I suppose, in a way, is you yourself.
But for those who seek, there is always an answer, sometimes in dreams and other times through signs; you just have to be attentive.
