Weekend-Engagement #305: Have you ever been in a dangerous situation? What was it, how did you deal with it and how has it changed what you do moving forward? by @davideownzall

image.png

That is a very scary situation, especially when you are a child... I'm not surprised it completely changed your life and made you more cautious about what's happening around you... I remember having similar nightmares when I was a kid, but mostly "inspired" by some ridiculous movies which weren't for my age for sure!
I still can't grasp how we managed to go to school alone in those days. I remember that I even went to kindergarten alone for some time... I suppose those were different days... But, after reading your story, were they?

My garden in spring: fresh growth and blooming trees by @friendlymoose

image.png

It looks like you have been very busy in your garden lately! I love spring when everything is blooming, and full of life... Compared to previous years, we had a lot of rain during the winter, so hopefully, our "spring" will last more than 2-3 weeks as usual... The sun is ruthless toward plants and burns everything so fast...
Btw, that crabapple tree looks amazing! (I had to translate the name of the plant into my language to understand what it is... 😃)

I miss...everything 🤣. by @mdrguez

image.png

You really moved me. The truth is, what we miss are the moments and experiences of childhood, not the things we might have. Your only worry was that night wouldn’t fall; not bills to pay, for example.
You miss the scents, the smells, the things you saw as your home when you were a child, which no longer exist, but I believe they do exist in your heart, and as long as all those things are there, you can close your eyes and return to those moments. That’s why life isn’t about things; life is about the experiences and memories we have.

Giving myself everything I want by @selfhelp4trolls

image.png

What a great reflection! It's great to see people share their struggles here on HIVE so others can jump in and help out... But, on the other side, it's important to share positive things, like you did... It motivated us to try to achieve something similar, to get in peace with ourselves, and to grow into better people...
I'm still far from the state you're in, but I'm doing my best to get there... The noise is too big, and my biggest mistake is that I take things too personally, despite knowing it's not like that... I found myself in your words where you mentioned putting others in the first place... That's nice, but it bounces back too often and does harm to me...
Good to hear that you are doing well! I know you had your struggles, and reaching this point was a tough journey, but I suppose it's worth it!

Repelente para plantas by @eugelys

image.png

That white spider, which we also call a ‘arañuela’ in Argentina is a real headache. I don’t have a garden at the moment like I used to; it used to be a large garden measuring 20 by 50 metres, but now I only have a balcony. However, that spider is attacking one of my succulents—it’s really going at it so I’ll definitely take your remedy into serious consideration. It seems very useful, easy to make, and effective.
Here’s the recipe a gardener—the foreman of a rose garden—gave me: melt some neutral soap in a container, mix it with plenty of water, and spray it using those special bottles for spraying clothes before ironing. It’s also very effective. Thanks for this tip; I hope it helps lots of people.

Semana de descarga ❤️‍🔥🏃🏻 [ESP-ENG] by @zgaetano

image.png

It's great to see you so motivated to get back to running. You may have taken a few days off, but I know you haven't stopped working on other aspects of your life. I'm glad you're going all out for the week ahead. Every time I read one of your posts, I'm inspired to keep training, although I haven't dared to run yet, but I'm doing well with the gym and hiking.
