I can't really say much about this AI issue because, I see so many people us AI a lot not only here on hive.
What I would alone say is that; AI can't communicate your mind, if you need to communicate your mind and you don't really know how to put it out there to people, I feel you can write whatever you wanna write and then use AI to refine your articles or post.
I don't think there is any wrong with that, using AI to refine your post.
If you have to check so many images used in most post/content, are AI generated why are people not talking about that?

Agree! I don't know about others, but I do use Grammarly, for example, for "refining" and checking on my spelling mistakes... It's not an AI per se, but it is in some way...
Using it in those ways will not "destroy your mind", your view stated in the post, but asking AI to write the whole post on a short prompt will... Of course, even the way we write is speaking "our mind"...
Can't speak for others, but I usually pay 99% of my attention to the text and what's written... Also, appreciate a lot more when the author shares his own images... Even if they are manipulated, at least they are part of the "mind".
