RE: What Kind Of Content Do You Consume? .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.42 (Wednesday, April 23rd, 5 PM UTC)

Only a better mechanism for rewarding comments, a topcomment project or similar, can attract people to engage more qualitatively, to avoid the situation of 7 views

(with my comment, there will be that many comments), as opposed to a hundred times more votes 🙂
We are here for those votes, but I am sad when I see that a post I made for an hour, was viewed by a total of three of them ...

That's true! I don't want to "comfort" you, but it was even worse in the past... I don't know why people always try to "cheat" the system... I mean, I do understand the "quick-rich" mentality, but if someone doesn't want to read my post, they don't have to comment or vote either...

Unfortunately, I'm lately battling with free time and I spend just a short time on consuming content, but when I do, I try to leave a valuable comment and show appreciation to the author...

Back to the content "type", the truth is that people tend to create "specific" comments where they want to get more upvotes (monetary value), and not the content that they would LIKE to post... Which makes that content even more "spammy" and not attractive for engagement, not just for consumers, but also for a creator as he/she isn't interested in the topic in the first place...

Shit.. this is a long comment... sorry... lol... too much ranting... 😃
