HIVE LANDS IN MEDELLÍN: PLANTING THE SEED OF DECENTRALIZATION – DAY 1[Eng/Esp]

Greetings humans, how are you...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be at the Hive stand here in Medellín, supporting this blockchain by creating accounts for new users and answering questions, since Hive in Medellín and Colombia is practically virgin territory when it comes to the Hive universe.

The event is being held at the Botanical Garden in my city and will last for 2 days.

I was surprised by the number of people who attended the event, not only checking out Hive but also other projects at the various stands, since there were many exhibitors.
I met all kinds of people, from the crypto-bro to those who have no idea what a blockchain is, to the man who wants to tokenize his hotel, and even people from other countries like Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru. For my part, I tried to educate them or plant the seed that there are blockchains where you can truly own your assets in a decentralized way.

I won’t deny it I talked a lot, even though I’m usually a person of few words. But seeing people’s interest in wanting to know more about Hive motivated me to give my best. Of course, I wasn’t the only one, there were other Hivers supporting as well.

I have no idea how many new accounts we created, but I feel this is a big step for my country in terms of Hive adoption; we are not yet at the level of other Latin American countries, but what matters is getting started.

Well, we have a screen where we show all Hive dApps, some chairs, a very nice piece of furniture, and a mini-setup where another Hive member is promoting his coffee, which can be purchased through Distriator or sampled for a few HBD.

There are also some giveaways active until today on X for those who visit us and activate their account.

Overall, it has been a very good experience for me, since I feel I connected with many people who share the same interest in this world or who want to learn. Today we will also be there supporting, and it is the last day.

Saludos humanos como están...

El día de ayer tuve la oportunidad de estar en el stand de hive aquí en Medellín apoyando a esta blockchain en la creación de cuentas para nuevos usuarios y resolviendo dudas ya que hive en Medellin y Colombia prácticamente es territorio virgen en cuanto al universo hive.
El evento se esta realizando en el Jardín Botánico de mi ciudad y serán 2 días.

Me sorprende la cantidad de personas que estuvieron en el evento no solo mirando hive, sino otros proyectos que hay en los otros stands ya que fueron muchos expositores.
Me encontrado con clientes de todo tipo desde el criptobro, hasta el que no tiene ni idea de que es una blockchain o el señor que quiere tokenizar su hotel e incluso personas de otros países como Mexico. Ecuador y Peru. Yo por mi parte trate de culturizarlos o sembrarles la semilla de que existen blockchain donde tu puedes ser el verdadero dueño de tus activos de una manera decentralizada.

No les voy a negar hable mucho y eso que soy una persona de pocas palabras, pero el ver el interés de las personas por querer saber mas de hive me motivo a dar lo mejor de mi. Claro esta que a parte de mi hay otros hivers apoyando.
No tengo idea de cuantas nuevas hemos creado, pero siento que esto es un gran paso para mi País frente a la adopción de hive ; no estamos al nivel de otros países americanos pero lo importante es comenzar.

EL STAND
Bueno tenemos una pantalla donde mostramos todas las dapps de hive, algunas sillas, un mueble muy bonito y tenemos un miniset donde otro chico de hive esa promocionando su café el cual lo pueden adquirir por distriator o llevarse una muestra por algunos hbd.
También hay unos giveaway activos hasta el día de hoy en x para las personas que nos visiten y activen su cuenta.

En general ha sido una experiencia muy buena para mi ya que siento que conecte con muchas personas con el mismo interés en este mundo o que quieren aprender, el día de hoy también estaremos en el lugar apoyando y hoy es el ultimo día.
