Not sure that games are good examples, splinterlands has been kept up by the dhf and the sps.dao funds, risingstar tokens are pretty bad as value

While I agree on some of your points, despite having "bad value," they are still doing some revenue share... Also, agree that there are better examples... 😃
If you have to share 10% of the profits, but thanks to that (for example, aff. marketing, spreading the word, etc.), you will double the sales, I think no rich would drop the offer...
Depends, spreading word and marketing doesn't guarantee any further sale, while that 10% is gone for sure... Best example, "we" as hive invested milions $ in marketing with value plan but we got nothing back...
