IF YOU COULD INVITE FIVE PEOPLE, LIVING OR DEAD, TO A DINNER PARTY, WHO COULD THEY BE
?If I have the chance or opportunity to invite five people, dead or alive, who would I invite? I could invite Mom, Dad, Auntie Helen, and Patience. They are all dead. I could want to ask Dad why he left that early.
Dad died when I was a toddler. Mom suffered to take care of all six of us. It wasn't easy for her. Some nights I could hear her praying and crying, asking God to help her see us through life. I could also invite Mom for that dinner and ask her why she didn't wait to see us grow, why she didn't wait to see her grandchildren, and why she left so early. Why didn't she wait to eat the fruit of her labor?
Mom died when I was a teenager. We missed them.

So also I could invite my sweet, loving auntie Helen; she left us too, my best cousin. She was loving and caring; anything good was Auntie Helen. Hmm, patience, my friend. She died in childbirth. I missed them so much. And the last one is Big Daddy John Danboyi, my foster father.
I want to ask him what went wrong. Why did he change towards us, his favorite children, after getting married to his new wife? He stopped caring, loving us like he used to. I miss them all so much. Thank you for reading my story.

I think it is a good choice of people to invite to that dinner, and I have no doubt that your parents would tell you how proud they are of you and how much they wished they could see you all grow up.
