Ok,so when I was in junior high school, I had this friend in my class, she was very very neat and well organized, her hand writing was on point, meaning you can't miss a word when reading and the bonus point was she was also very intelligent, beautiful and hardworking.

I know your mind will be like, so you where not neat while growing up? The answer is NO I was but I never took things seriously, I was OK and contented with what I can get and never strive for more.

She took the highest point in class in all subject, and of course teachers love students that encourages them.
Again you will be wondering if I was jealous of her? And my answer is NO, I never was instead I wanted to be like her or even better.

I loved how she set her priorities right, she took good care of her younger siblings in school, everything was just perfect 👌

And so then I decided to be better as a student, I started reading not just for my exams but to understand and implement it on my day to day life.
I washed and iron my uniform more often and my shoes is always polished.

I have never gotten the highest position in school before, but when I started putting more efforts because i was influenced by her, I got the highest position and was commended by her and the teachers. The teacher even wrote a remark on my result sheet saying; and I quote " she has improved very well please keep up the good work"

        Everyone was surprised with 
      that result including myself.

We had a very small circle in school but we where known by many at our school. My notes where always complete which was also a habit I picked from her, I never and I repeat never had an incomplete note, if I did it means the teacher never pronounced or said it loud enough since we mostly did dictation.

Did I mention my dad was a primary school teacher, of which I help him write his lesson notes for his teaching classes.

She was also very respectful and obedience, very strong in her faith i found this worthy to emulate and i did. This made me to find favour in the eyes of my class mates, teachers, principal and most of all at home and church.

My friend was a goal getter, when she puts her mind to something, she does it perfectly. For instance she wanted to study law, but she ended up having a little experience working in the hospital, which changed her mindset and now she is studying Nursing in school.
If you are from Nigeria, you will understand how difficult it is for someone that has written all the essential exams as an act student to transit to science student reading Nursing, I said Nigeria 🇳🇬 because I don't know the criteria needed to study Nursing in other countries.

         What made it difficult for 
         me to implement it

The truth is am a very big procrastinator, I want to do something but I end up doing it at a later hour which gives me an average results. I also get less motivated if am not always reminded or challenged by someone I strive to be like.

Traits and habits can be good or bad, in my case I was able to filter out good traits I know will benefit me at the long run. And I also have the habit of picking out good traits from people around me.
