LOH#221 laughter is the best medicine

I grew up in a very large,funny and loving family where we tend to tease each other all the time. The echoing sound of laughter in a home brings unity and togetherness,there is nothing like bonding with your family members and bringing up or reminiscing events of the past that maybe at that time might have been so serious, but looking back at the event you just laughed uncontrollably about it.

Most of us are in higher institutions, some are working Monday through Friday. The only time we get to be at home all together is during the holidays like Christmas, Easter and new years which we are all so grateful for.

obviously most of us came for the holidays so we cound bond with family members, visit our friends and just enjoy home cook meals as well

It was a Saturday morning, I was sitting down in the living room with my siblings cracking jokes and laughing when one of my siblings joking said I looked so much like my paternal grandmother which is not news to me at all, but then everyone burst out laughing and i inclusive 😂

I have been teased with it ever since I knew right from wrong but that actual day what actually made me to burst out laughing was when, one of my siblings pointed out to us a slippers I bought when I traveled back from work, she said ' ahh she even bought a slippers that is a replica of the one our grandmother use to have' I couldn't contain myself again I burst out laughing and even rolling on the floor, that tears started rolling from my eyes to my cheeks 😂 😂 it was a good laugh.

one of them also said my toes looks like our grandmother's so is like seeing her when she was younger.

We were still laughing when one of my siblings also reminded us of the pretend arresting that happened during one sanitation morning,

Usually in my state bayelsa every last Saturday of the month is sanitation throughout the whole state, that faithful day we where cleaning or pretending to 😂 when we saw the authorities chasing some aged men towards us,seeing those aged men run for their life was something else, it was one scary day but talking about it made us all burst out laughing 😂

Things that makes us laugh the hardest most times are things that reminds us of our loved ones and the memories we share together, in my case that day was about the slippers.

Laughing is truly a medicine on it's own, from the scientific point of view which emphasizes on the fact that says those who laugh more tend to have less wrinkles than those who frown.
