Girlhood to womanhood-LOH Contest #145

Hehe 😀, I totally don't know how to thank @merit.ahama for this wonderful prompt as it help me to express myself so very much deeply. Here's my approach to this week @ladyofhive contest.

In the enchanting journey of life, there are transformative moments that mold us into the remarkable individuals we are destined to become. This is a tale of empowerment, resilience, and self-discovery - a captivating narrative of breaking barriers and embracing newfound independence. We follow the path of a young girl's evolution into an empowered lady, defying societal norms and expectations to wholeheartedly embrace her true self. From the innocent days of childhood to the strength and wisdom of womanhood, this inspiring chronicle stands as a testament to the invincible power of determination and the resounding triumph of the human spirit.

"I grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Lagos, Nigeria, where life exposed me to countless experiences.. As I journeyed from adolescence to adulthood, the path of being a female was often laden with stress, especially during the tumultuous years of puberty. The challenges of dealing with menstrual cycles weighed heavily on my young shoulders, and they made me long for an escape from the pains."

"My educational journey started within Lagos State, Nigeria, where I attended both Primary and Secondary schools. The bustling ambiance of Bariga surrounded me during those formative years, providing a unique and lively setting for my growth."

"I grappled with resentment and disdain for my identity as a girl child. Desires to pursue various aspirations were stifled by societal restrictions, dictating that certain endeavors were solely reserved for male counterparts. My heart yearned for the freedom to express myself, yet society's reminders of my gender often left me disheartened.

"As I matured, my appreciation for my beauty as a lady grew, but it didn't deter my desire for boundless freedom, regardless of my gender."

"The radiance of my beauty became undeniable, and as I witnessed changes in my physical appearance, I finally embraced and celebrated the essence of who I am. However, the struggle to embrace feminine fashion persisted between ages 10 and 15, sowing seeds of self-doubt."

"Confidence eluded me, and I sought solace in the comforts of solitude. Immersed in the realm of my passions, talents, and crafts, I reveled in the sanctuary of my indoor haven".

"Adolescence's transformative years saw me grappling with the challenges of seeking college admission at ages 16 to 17. However, at age 18, elation engulfed me as I secured admission to a University in Kwara, Nigeria. The pursuit of knowledge became a stepping stone to explore life's boundless opportunities, and in the solace of living alone, I forged an intimate connection with myself."

"Amidst the cacophony of life, I ventured into an odyssey of self-education, delving into self-development books and captivating podcasts. The quest for knowledge was intertwined with social interactions, catalyzing my transformation from an introvert into an extrovert."

"Armed with newfound wisdom and a degree from the University, I set my sights on higher aspirations. I enrolled in a business training school in Nigeria for a wider knowledge, unleashing my boundless potential and creativity. This academic journey kindled an ardent passion for religion, sports, politics, and leadership."

Fond memories of my university days are epitomized by the prideful moment when I emerged as the first female elected president. The mantle of leadership bestowed upon me a unique edge over my male counterparts. Unapologetically, I stand not as a feminist, but as an ardent advocate for freedom - a treasured value society may not always grant effortlessly. Nonetheless, I persistently seek ways to embrace my identity, continually growing and evolving into the empowered young lady I am today."

Thanks for Reading 😀😀

Yeah, focus and self-development are two powerful key we should never look down on. Even when everyone say No this isn't possible you say okay I've heard you can you give me three month 😂. Yes, someone told me programming is hard you can't learn I said spear me with three month then they started seeing magic. So if you're a female they say no and you also soccumb you're gone 😀😀

Thanks for your kind words @merit.aha ma , much love 😘

We all have different stories and obstacles that we've had to overcome. It's great that you were able to look back at your journey, and I trust that writing this was cathartic in many ways:)

Exactly, I guess there's still something that still keep me going despite the ugly day and night and what is it passion to be a blessing to my generation. If the rate of challenges should be measured to give up, I would have end it.

Thanks for stopping. Much love 😘
