Through thick and thin, the friendship that stood by me ; LOH Contest #274

Hello @ladiesofhive
Welcome to the month of February a month, often filled with love, smiles, and thoughtful moments. For me, this season is a reminder of the kind of love that stays present even when life feels uncomfortable or uncertain.
For this week’s #contest, I’m answering the question:
“Show us the person you shared the most with this past year, the one who stood by you through thick and thin.”
That person is my husband
Hubby has been my greatest support and companion. Every month spent with him over the past four years has been amazing. We have been through thick and thin together. We’ve shared beautiful moments, and even when life shook us and tested our strength, our bond never broke, but it grew stronger.
For this week’s prompt, I want to share a moment from last year that truly tested our friendship, yet proved how strong it really is.

Last year wasn’t easy for me. I went through a very challenging season that demanded more strength than I thought I had, including time spent in the hospital. It was unfamiliar and a little scary, but I wasn’t alone. Hubby has become my everyday hero in the quietest and most beautiful ways.
He stayed with me through long nights, prayef for me, sometimes he was half-asleep on a hospital chair just so I wouldn’t feel lonely. He held my hands, cracked small jokes to make me smile, and gently reminded me that everything would be fine. He helped me with the simple things I could no longer do on my own and always made sure I was comfortable.

During that time, I learned that recovery can be faster and easier when love and care are shown. His patience, soft words, and calmness, even when he was tired, brought me peace. His presence alone made the days feel lighter.
Outside the hospital, he took care of our children and managed the home without complaints. He balanced everything with grace, constantly checking on me and making sure I never felt forgotten. Even when he was exhausted, his concern was always about my healing.
Seeing his love in action gave me strength. On days weep going.

Through him, I learned that love doesn’t have to be loud or perfect sometimes. It’s gentle, steady, and full of care.
So yes, that best friend is my husband, and he remains my number one and most special person. Thank you hubby for being a true friend and partner.

Thank you for this @marivic10 week's prompt
I remain @pascalukandy, much love #ladies
