A HELPING HAND. LOH #298

First of all, I'm going to assume such an opportunity is governmental or close enough. Each and everyone of those persons will be recognised as national heroes, not just by saying, but in writing, writing that will be published. Because in this world that seems to be growing in selfishness, people actually still extended a hand of help to those in need even when it could be life threatening.

Another thing I would do is to put each of their kids (as many that has) on scholarships. Because if you're going out of your way to save the lives of other people's children, yours should have safety nets too. For those that do not have kids, their own lives will be added to the national budget. That is, if after a specified time we don't see significant activities in their bank statements, we will intervene through various channels that won't make them feel alarmed or entitled. I said this because there is a chance that is some of them new that the intervention they are getting is because of their selfless acts during these trying times, they might start letting it get to their heads and start feeling entitled to it. We don't want that so taint their good works. Like the intervention, every other thing I would do for them will not be made public, even to the beneficiaries.

I believe it is people like that that should be brought in shows to talk about kindness. Because there obviously are things that they know and understand to the point that they could actually practice despite their own possible difficulties.

And of course, if get to meet them in person, after plenty words of encouragement, I will join them in their acts of kindness and as much resources that I can pull. You know, to boost their morale and reassure the victims that they are not alone in this.
