Woman To Woman: Insights From Women Who've Been There

Instead of struggling on what to write today as I couldn't find a prompt I resonate with easily for a post, I thought I should share some interesting happenings about my life lately. It's been over five months since I got back from my country service and I've been learning a bit too much about life.

I say it's a bit too much because I'm surprised how I had never thought about them in the past and why they are all coming to me at once when it wouldn't have been out of place that I knew about them long before now. Well, they are very welcome and I appreciate the means I get them.

There is the popular saying that "Learning never ends" and recently, I've been very curious about many things that somehow even when I don't expect it, I learn so much from people around but most especially, I've learned some unique knowledge from women closest to me recently.

Women are a great people in our society from beginning of human existence, I wish I can emphasize enough what I mean by that but it's beyond me to explain and even yet to understand how special women are especially with my recent findings that I'm even yet to experience myself.

One thing I learned a bit late but better late than never is, I can learn a lot more from my fellow women who have been there before. Learning from other's experience is the best way to learn but humans just tend to make mistakes that will give them the experience itself and not lessons.

I got myself women mentors who have been affecting my life positively, that's how I want it to be. They don't know it but they are preparing me for what's to come as they share insights about life, womanhood and motherhood with me. I was in a conversation with a woman I respect a lot and she shared a lot of her experiences with me.

From afar or when we've not experienced it ourselves, it all seem easy and amazing but from my close relationship with these amazing women, I've learned better to not underestimate the things women do to live up to nature and it's plans for them. Having to deal with womanhood, motherhood and parenthood is a lot for women.

But from their insights, I learned the most important part of being a woman. God who created them man and woman have given every woman the strengths and weaknesses they need to jog through all stages of nature they have to face. It's not something they can escape totally except they want to go against natural process.

But for the fact that I believe in God and His will for mankind, women especially, I feel less fear about what I'm yet to experience and where I've yet to get to. I think learning from women who have been there has been helping me get rid of my fears and focus more on embracing the woman I'm becoming now and be in the future.
