Leap Year Humans & Their Uniqueness [LOH 174]

I don't know if it's just me but I believe every human born in whatever circumstances is special and God Almighty decides the day they are born into the world whether on an ordinary year or a leap year. But if I am to be very honest, I see leap year humans as very unique beings not for the many reasons that other humans are unique too, but for the fact that God chose that day for them.

Their birthdays come once every four years, Feb 29th of every leap year... I find these people unique.

I've been opportune to meet and be with a few of these particular people, they are mostly like everyone else but the part where they tend to remember their birthdays on the 28th of February or 1st March until a leap year to celebrate it for real makes me wonder how God made all this happen.

I'm yet to understand the main logic or meaning of a leap year but for this leap year, it is a special one for me as I've started a new phase of my life in it. February 29th is drawing near and I'm looking forward to celebrating a few of my friends who I haven't celebrated in a long time.

I appreciate that I was born on my birthday but for some reasons, I wish I was born in a leap year and here are the reasons.

They don't have to worry about birthday celebration until every four years: It's no joke how much some people spend to celebrate their birthdays, I am one of those who feel birthdays don't have to be celebrated extravagantly to leave a memory and I also think there are more important things to celebrate than birthdays, so naturally having only one day every four to celebrate it would be wonderful to me.

How people celebrate and make jokes with their irregular birthdays: I've seen leap year humans being celebrated, some go extravagant since it only comes once every four years and some don't do much but marks that day with memories. There are also people who make fun of these people, some may seem insulting or unappreciative of their birth but some make me smile and see these unique birth humans as amazing beings.

There must be other reasons but these are the ones I'd love to be a leap year born for. What do you think about leap year humans?

In various cultures birth dates tend to have special significance but it'd be fun to imagine what would it be like to change that date! Born Feb 29th? I would not pick Feb 28th, nor March 1st. I think the whole calendar is fair game so I pick Oct 31st 🎃 and I'd be treated as Gothic royalty by my Goth crowd.

That's a funny one
I think they have the power to celebrate their day anytime of the year 😅

My brother celebrates his birthday every 22nd of February, but we still make jest of him once in a while that he was lucky to escape being born on 29th of February. They are unique
