If my camera roll could tell my story - LOH #303

If my camera roll could tell my story, I honestly don't know how interesting it would look to anyone else.

There would be no fancy vacations or party every weekend, no endless pictures of outing or whatsoever, and definitely no perfectly curated lifestyle.

Instead, my camera roll would tell one very simple story: the story of motherhood.

My gallery is filled with pictures of my daughters, from their early days till toddlers.
Their smiling faces, funny expressions,sleepy moments,their little outfits, their random poses, pictures she probably doesn't even remember me taking.
And even the random snaps and selfies they take whenever I am busy with other things.
And trust me, I do not deleted them from my gallery.

Sometimes I open my gallery intending to find an important picture, only to realize that I've scrolled through more than twenty pictures of the same little girl making slightly different faces.

And somehow, I never get tired of it.

If my camera roll could speak, it would probably say, "This woman is completely obsessed with her daughters"

But beyond the jokes, I think there's something beautiful about it.
One day, these ordinary pictures will become memories.

The little faces I see every day will change. Their tiny hands will grow. Their voices will sound different. Their funny little habits will disappear and be replaced by new ones.

And that's probably why I keep taking pictures.

Not because every moment is extraordinary, but because ordinary moments become precious when they become memories.

My camera roll may not tell the story of a glamorous life.

But it tells the story of a mother who wanted to remember the little things.

A mother who looked at her daughter and thought, "Let me take one more picture."

And yes… there will probably be another one tomorrow. And I will keep on hearing those tiny little voices asking me to snap them.
And I won't get tired of holding the camera so that they have a good time.
