You don’t know how much you miss your friends until you see them. Truly, absence makes the heart grow fonder, and whoever came up with that saying was absolutely right.
Having friends you love dearly is golden, and watching your friendship blossom with each passing day is beautiful and shouldn’t be taken for granted.
While we love and cherish the friendships we have, it’s so sad to be reminded of how much distance and time could get in the way of our relationships with others. While most people can manage these challenges, others can’t and this can sometimes put a strain on their relationships.

Yesterday, I reunited with my friend after four years, four solid years of being apart, and each of us living our separate lives yet connected in so many ways. We saw each other, not on FaceTime, not pictures but in person. The reunion was perfect and all that we had always wished for😃
Catching up and being lost in our little bubble was everything. Not bothered about anything and everything, we tried to cherish every moment spent and make new memories, whilst praying and being hopeful that our wonderful reunion never ends, but still bracing ourselves for what is to come, regardless.
Seeing and hearing my friend laugh beside me was everything. Going down memory lane as we recounted as many memories as we could remember was amazing.

Yesterday was a beautiful day indeed, but sadly it had to end. It wasn’t goodbye for us, but a “see you in a jiffy,” because nobody is going anywhere just yet😃😃😃
Do you look forward to reuniting with your friends? How do you feel when you guys are all together again? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments!
